Will you have the spookiest house on the block? Do you have a Pinterest worthy porch?  We can’t see what you come up with this year!

Judging starts at dusk on Oct. 18th and concludes on Friday the 20th.

We are just one month away from our Wyndemere Fall Fest!

As promised, here are some things to look forward to this year 🧡

We are excited to bring back the fan favorites and continue to add some additional fun! We will post some more reminders as the date approaches…but we did want to mention that we will be having our house decorating contest again, as well! We can’t wait to see all the festive houses 👻 Flyers with all the details for the event/contests will be hitting your mailbox soon.

Please note – we are switching up the location this year. We will be hosting the festival on the NORTH end of Filipp Lane 🙂

On behalf of the HOA’s Board Members, Nick Holman posted the following note on the Wyndemere Estates Facebook group.   It is reposted here for anyone who isn’t regularly on Facebook.

Hello everyone,
 
As you all noticed there was an issue with the notice of our HOA Board meeting going out in time to provide the 10 days notice required per our bylaws. There was an issue with the notice going out from our management company and they sincerely apologize.
 
Out of respect for those of you able to attend this evening and those unable to attend we are going to cover the information tonight and we will send adequate notice for a rescheduled meeting. There is nothing to vote on at this meeting it is primarily informational.
 
We do again apologize for the inconvenience and will work to do better.

A link has been added on the Helpful Links page to the Golf Cart Guidelines for the city of Lake Saint Louis.  That page contains detailed information about driving a golf cart on any roadway surface maintained by the City of Lake Saint Louis.

DNI Properties asked us to share the response received from Lake Saint Louis Ward 1 Alderman Jacalyn Schauer regarding the possible connection of Eckstein Lane to Mason Creek Drive:

There are no current plans to connect Eckstein to Mason Creek Drive.

This configuration was set up because the developer of Wyndemere Estates (formerly Mason Glenn Phase III) did not want to follow the approved development plan.   

Concerns were raised by the city that it was not only good practice to have multiple connections for subdivisions, but that Mason Creek would not meet Code because of the length of the stub without a cul-de-sac, and that emergency access would be restricted if there were an incident on Highway N.  Additionally, in the future Highway N may be divided and left turns prohibited at Wyndemere Dr.  The compromise was made to dedicate right-of-way so a future connection could be made if necessary and grass pavers installed so emergency access can be provided between the two streets.    

There has been no discussion on this again since.

DNI Properties asked us to share the following updates about mowing and irrigation with the homeowners:

The landscaping company who will care for Wyndemere Estates common grounds this year is expected to begin work next week after things dry out a bit.

We are in the process of obtaining bids to repair the irrigation system, and to replace dead trees along Highway N.

  • DNI’s contact directory for your community and after-hours emergency number
  • Access to this portal via a mobile smartphone app
  • And so much more!

A link to MoDOT’s Route N Study website was added to the Helpful Links page.  This study’s goal to assess the needs and issues of  Route N from east to the I-64/Route 364 interchange to west of South Point Prairie Road.
